“Two Cities” explores a silent tension between the vertical and the organic. On the left, towering prismatic forms rise like sentinels of a concrete metropolis, their sharp lines contrasting with the rolling hills in the background. To the right, a second city, smaller and shrouded in a luminous mist, suggests a distant destination or perhaps a memory of urbanity.

The work employs a somber palette of grays and ochres, with light appearing to emanate from the center of the canvas, creating a void that both joins and separates the two urban centers. The paths winding through the foreground evoke the idea of human trajectories and connections, suggesting that while the cities appear isolated, they are bound by the same earth and the same dreamlike horizon. It is a reflection on isolation, scale, and the search for belonging within the vast pictorial space.

Em “Duas Cidades”, a composição é dominada por uma tensão silenciosa entre o vertical e o orgânico. À esquerda, formas prismáticas e imponentes erguem-se como sentinelas de uma metrópole concreta, cujas linhas retas contrastam com a suavidade das colinas ao fundo. À direita, uma segunda cidade, menor e envolta em uma névoa luminosa, sugere um destino distante ou talvez uma memória de urbanidade.

A obra utiliza uma paleta sóbria de cinzas e ocres, onde a luz parece emanar do centro da tela, criando um vazio que une e ao mesmo tempo separa os dois núcleos urbanos. Os caminhos que serpenteiam o terreno em primeiro plano evocam a ideia de trajetórias e conexões humanas, sugerindo que, embora as cidades pareçam isoladas, elas estão ligadas pela mesma terra e pelo mesmo horizonte onírico. É uma reflexão sobre o isolamento, a escala e a busca por pertencimento no vasto espaço pictórico.
